Portfolio builder for creatives
Werkset is a portfolio platform where your best work lives and your collaborations help you grow. Creatives get a clean site at their own werkset.app URL, on-page editing with no code, and a credit system that links projects across everyone who worked on them. Behind the scenes, a full admin dashboard lets the team control and manage the product, users, and site-wide settings without touching code.

The problem Werkset solves
Werkset answers a simple problem: creative work is collaborative, but most portfolio tools treat every project as solo. On werkset.app, users showcase video (YouTube or Vimeo), photo galleries, and audio with waveform players, all in one place.
Editing, credits, and publish
Everything is edited directly on the portfolio: click text to change it, drag to reorder, upload assets without leaving the page. Collaborators can be credited with roles; when they accept, the same project surfaces on their werkset, building a linked network of work. Built-in contact forms, social links, brand logos, and instant publish keep the product focused on working creatives, not wrestling a generic site builder.
Operator dashboard
Alongside the public product we built a full admin dashboard so operators can run Werkset day to day: manage accounts, review and moderate where needed, configure site-wide behavior, and keep the platform healthy without engineering round trips for every change.
End to end delivery
The Media Standard conceived, designed, and engineered Werkset end to end, including that internal control plane. You can see the public experience on our own portfolio at werkset.app/themediastandard.
The Process
We shipped Werkset as a product: validate with real creatives, iterate on editing and credits, pair the fan-facing app with operator tooling, and keep everything fast and approachable.
Discovery
Mapped how directors, editors, photographers, and audio pros actually share work and credits. Defined the collaboration graph, acceptance flows, and what “good” looks like for on-page editing.
Design
Interaction design for click-to-edit, drag reorder, multi-format projects, and collaborator UX. Visual language that stays out of the way so the creative work stays center stage.
Build & ship
Full-stack implementation: public app, auth, media embeds, galleries, chat, publishing pipeline, and the admin dashboard that ties it together for the team. Continuous delivery so improvements reach werkset.app users quickly.
